A tall man, with breezy blond hair and amber eyes that are very piercing. His skin is paler then pale, and on his head he sports tabby cat ears. He hides these with a headband. He is a bit skinny, which could almost make him seem weak or unhealthy, but he is strong. He is built for speed and grace mostly though. He sports a orange tabby tail as well. Usually he wears gloves to hide the nails that are mush to sharp, and baggy pants to hide the tail he has. On his neck is a glowing pendant, an eerie green, attacked to a rope the color of black. He usually hides this under his slightly too big a shirt as well. |

Oh boy, be prepared for a major personality twist. Anyway, this Fay is one of the most sensitive people one would ever meet. However, he prefers not to let people know this, and shies away from deep attachment. His emotions are carefully locked away for a good amount of time, but are also concealed with negative ones. For example sadness, fear, and confusion would all be expressed with anger, because he has no idea how to react other then with anger. And his anger is very explosive, and to add to that Fay is short-tempered. On the other hand though, Fay can be extremely sweet, friendly, and playful towards the one's he trusts, however that shell is not one that can be broken easily. He likes to hide himself away if something is likely to hurt him, like hurtful comments, and with that he also tends to bottle up almost all the angst or anger he feels until it ends up becoming a bit too much and he explodes. This pertains to injuries as well; he'd rather pretend nothing is wrong and we'll say walk on a sprained ankle rather then have anyone worry or help him walk. Fay is very selfless and does what he can to help others, even if what he does sometimes seems a bit more hurtful then helpful. Fay also has a bad habit of thinking through his feelings rather then just feeling them, which can cause him to be in great denial when it pertains to attachments or fear. On the flip side Fay is not he most loyal of sorts. When it comes to friendship you can count on him to help unless betrayed, but relationships is a whole other story. Fay is outgoing and extremely flirtatious, and if you're interesting or fun he's interested or wants to play. He is more than able to keep multiple partners at once. If he gets into his mind that you are nothing more then a one nightstand or a friend with benefits, that's all you really will be. However, if he ever really finds someone he absolutely can't stand to be with out, you can count on a die hard and romantic lover to be by your side for as long as you keep feeding him what he saw in you the first time. Be warned, betrayal will not win points. If Fay chooses to trust and is hurt for any reason, there will be a grudge. And he will hold on to that grudge for a very, very, very, very, long time; and wait for the right moment to strike with his revenge. Oh, and he is curious as all hell and does a lot of things that may even in danger his life just to try an figure some thing out (this includes people). He enjoys puzzles very much! |
Fay has all those abilities that pertain to a cat; this means exceptional hearing, exceptional balance, the ability to go days and days without nourishment (excludes water), along with an amazing ability to remember details and landmarks when it comes to observing his surroundings. Oh, and because of those parts he has somehow gotten the ability to transform into a cat. Usually this only happens when he panics or gets humiliated, but he can transform himself if he needs to for any reason. He usually tries to keep this hidden though. Coupled with that he has developed a concept of understanding energy. For example, using magic on a weapon is simply a transferal of energy into the object and then releasing it. The easiest way to explain this is that he has a library in his head, and every single thing as it's own energy (or voice; which he often calls it) that he can hear and relate to that library; and that he can manipulate said energy into another type of energy to cause things, fix things, break things, defend things, so on and so forth. Because of this major ability, Fay loves to garden and play instruments. And he is rather good at it. Gardening he is gentle and, to make it simple, he talks with the plants and treats them like kin. With the instruments he just flows with whatever he wishes to play; essentially he can pick up any instrument and after being shown a scale and how to play he can master it within minutes. He is intelligent enough to teach himself almost anything if given the chance, not just instruments. He has a high tolerance of pain and of emotional distress, which allows him to remain cool when something distressing threatens to break him. The most uncontrolled ability he has is his ability to see and understand spirits, which usually leads to him feeling chilled or makes him faint. This power will make him dream or see flashes of memory of people or make him start having a conversation with people who aren't there. He can also allow his body to be temporarily borrowed. However, as much as he tries to help these spirits, they still scare the spit out of him. |
Fay will be in a place all dark, with a pool off to the side. He will look around himself and be frightened. Suddenly, millions of transparent and whitish hands will reach out from the puddle of water and grab him everywhere. They throw him to the ground and start to drag him into the pond, and all he can do is yell and shout for help. And just as he hits the water and is strangled by all the hands that are squeezing and yanking, he will jolt awake covered in sweat. |
The cats part are deeply ingrained in him now. His hands even have retractable claws! No whiskers though... that's weird. Oh, and to make him not as all powerful as I made him sound, sometimes he can faint from using too much energy if he doesn't replenish it with food or sleep quick enough. Also, using too much energy sometimes can make him have headaches, faint, or have vertigo. Also, about his ability to bring people back from the dead. This comes with major consequences and limits. First off, it requires a ton of energy which if not careful about can lead to the casters own death. A vessel must be found and still be mostly alive if a soul is to be place in it. If all of this is successful, there is one consequence that makes the whole procedure not worth the effort. The body the soul is place in will not be it's new home, for that body is dead, and so it will not age and will even begin to decay like any body would. The soul would have to hop from body to body to really come back from the dead. |

Fay found himself liking him, to the point that he paid to have his blood taste better for him, introduce fish into his diet, and even agree to kill him if his curse acted up. Kurogane was so cold that this led to constant fights. Fay was determined not to repeat his past and save him from his curse regardless.Kurogane Youou [AU] blackensteel There first meeting was a bit... tense. But they got over that. And after sleeping together by a semi-accident, it seems that they have both developed some what of a crush. They are tent-mates.Sidonie [NPC] A strawberry that he grew from seed. Like a daughter to him. Tom [NPC] A ghost who lives in the fourth floor. Very friendly. Fay finds himself going up there to play with him quite a bit. Gwen [NPC] An old woman who lives in his apartment. |
